dev build 200809250201 "RESTful web services from pattern" is very confusing. It isn't clear why the first option is really called Singleton, since all you're doing is creating a bare-bone RESTful service. It should be called a "basic" RESTful service or something. The description of the "container-item" pattern is also confusing. The word "container" is very ambiguous in the context of web services (I thought you meant web container). I would suggest rewording this as follows: "This pattern creates RESTful services for a collection of items. One service is created for the collection class, another for the item class." ... this is a lot clearer to me than the existing description. Finally, the "Client-controlled container-item" doesn't really explain how the client chooses the item URI. If you can't explain this in detail in the GUI please link to an online document that goes into more detail. The current explanation doesn't really help. Just my 2 cents :)
This bug has no other impact on functionality except questionable description. It is no so clear that description is really bad. So decreasing priority to P4.
