1. "Connect" an existing connection.
2. Expand the node, and then expand the Tables node.
3. Disconnect.
4. Launch Properties and change the database.
5. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

The wrong tables are shown.

Ouch.  This is probably related to how I changed how you get the DriverSpecification and thus the DatabaseMetadata
object it contains.

If this is a P3, please describe the workaround.  If it involves a restart of NB this is a P2.
