Description Peter Lam 2008-09-17 22:57:59 UTC
The popup menus from the project window, Services window, editor, etc. are invoked with the shortcut key Shift+F10 from
the keyboard on all platforms except on Mac OS X. This shortcut or an equivalence is not available on the Mac OS X
platform so some functions presented on the popup menus can not be accessed without the mouse. Other plugins, eg, UML,
that depends mainly on the popup menu for the UML functions, eg, create a new diagram, will not be usable without the mouse.

Here are a few of the functions that keyboard access is not possible.

From the Project window, right click on the project node->Rename
From the Services window, right click on the Databases node->New Connection...
Another example is the web project has an "Undeploy and Deploy"
UML plugin for new diagram creation, etc.

This is not a valid issue - see workaround and axplanation which is described in umbrella issue #147479.

This issue cannot be resolved on our side. If someone wants to use Shift-F10 for popup menu invocation on Mac then it is
necessary to redefine system shortcut from F10 to something else - please see workaround and explanation which is
described in umbrella issue #147479.
