This is umbrella issue and should collect issues related to missing shortcut for popup menu invoking on Mac. The open contextual menu (show-popup-menu) shortcut is defined now as Shift + F10 (the same for Mac and other platforms). Since we have it previously defined as <none> on Mac there are potential inconsistencies which should be filed as separate issues and follow this umbrella.
The link with the shortcuts keymap is http://wiki.netbeans.org/KeymapProfileFor60.
It is necessary to explain how it works. The Mac OS X uses F10 as default shortcut for Expose>Application window. When Shift+F10 is pushed then the action is the same as F10 only the difference is that the shift causes slow down in painting. So that Shift+F10 doesn't work as shortcut for popup menu by default. The solution (workaround) for those people who want use applications which support popup menu invoking by Shift+F10 is following: -Invoke System Prefferences dialog from main apple menu -Select Expose & Spaces -Select Expose tab -In Application windows field change F10 shortcut to any different
Additionally I would like to summarize which issues do we need to track under this umbrella. It should include only issues where popup menu cannot be invoked from keyboard by Shift+F10 even after applying workaround above.
It has no sense to hold this issue opened in issuezilla because all issues depending on it are resolved (anyway it looks like it is not issue that can be handled on our side - resolving this issue as wontfix). If anyone has troubles with popup menu invocation from keyboard on Mac OS X please check the following page before reopening this issue http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqPopupFromKeyboardOnMac.
Marking this issue as verified.
