Description Adam Sotona 2001-08-22 17:07:25 UTC
When testing Java CVS on Win 98, after several minutes of work, one or more
windows became dead.
In MDI everything works.
Death is slowly spreading on other windows.
Restarting of IDE helps for several minutes.

Dead window:
- is not visible in task list (Alt-Tab)
- is visible on taskbar
- can get focus by clicking on taskbar
- cannot get focus by clicking inside window
- cannot be moved
- nothing could be chnged inside window
- is properly refreshed and redrawed (for example new panels are properly
docked inside)

Thread dump is not available, because of small Win98 terminal buffer.

It looks to me that this bug must be on JDK side, I think it is not
even in possibilities of java to kill windows in such way. Adam, can
you find (or file) proper bug to JDK team and close this one wiht
reference? Thanks.
