It is currently possible to leave references to J2ME (and I assume other) platforms in the Platform list when
uninstalling old versions of NetBeans and installing new versions.

If the old platform no longer exists, it needs to be removed from the platform list and the new platform must be
configured instead.

I guess it is the responsibility of the plugin, reassigning to mobility for evaluation.
