Description dmladek 2001-07-26 09:53:53 UTC
[NBdev-200107250100]

I put this issue in vcscore because it is requered in all possible VCS modules
like javacvs, vcscvs or vcsgeneric.

JavaCVS has currently support for a format of commands outputs.
One of them is: "Formated Output"
in this case I miss the possibility store it into a file.

can you please go into more details what the proposal is?

I've just implemented the "save to file" feature that works on the
standard comamnd output panel.
I think that's enough. Saving to file isn't a day-to-day activity and
it's accessible even when you're using the Formatted output.
(go to Runtime tab, pick the vcs command you want to save, open it's
standard output panel and save it.)

OK, you're right:-)
I thought that for command-line output format it'll be probably more
common to store it to file.

But maybe we missunderstand each other 'cause I put it this issue to
vcscore as a general issue over each module on the issue #13951 just
only on javacvs (because it allow specialy to have command-line
output format)

But bouth are now set to vcscore:-/
