This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
The module categories (see http://www.netbeans.org/servlets/StartPage) can also be found as components in IZ. The problem is that the users are now able to file bugs against those 'umbrella' components, but nobody is actually tracking them on the NetBeans side. The components don't have the right sets of attributes (subcomponents, versions, target milestones, etc.), they're not reflected in the QA statistics, no module owners are subscribed to the mailing lists. The components need to be removed from IZ asap.
We can do this on this end, but we need IZ Admin permissions. Taska will set up some people with correct perms while she is here.
I have deleted the following components from IZ das debugger experimental formeditor javalanguage misc openapi sourceeditor thecore tools versioncontrol webcomponents In four cases there were already bugs filed against the components. I have re-assigned them as appropriate.
Verified.
