Since passenger (by Phusion) is becoming a good and popular alternative to mongrel for Rails apps, it would be nice if NB had support for it. No need to 
"start" and "stop" passenger like you do mongrel, but it could have a "restart" server option (which would touch tmp/restart.txt), and an option for debug 
mode that tails the development log (which currently doesn't seem to be available; rather debug mode tails the mongrel log which in development mode is 
similar to the development log).

Agreed that this would be nice to have, let's see whether time will permit for 6.5.
