jomu, what build do you use? The issue really looks like a duplicate of issue 132662 fixed on Jun 16th -

I am using 200804211638 - so I guess, the patch is not applied, correct? If yes, where can I download the needed patch?

I guess, you use NB 6.1 FCS that was built on 20080421. The fix of the issue #132662 is already fixed in trunk and also
backported in release61_fixes repository. In case all tests for this fix will pass then the patch with this fix will be
released on NetBeans Update Center next week. You can just go to UC and install the fix in your IDE. The second option
is to switch to dev build where the issue is already fixed (download from
http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/2008-06-23_02-01-08/) However, dev build is unstable due massive development that
is done now.
