- create a class diagram
- create a design pattern element on the diagram
- create a role of any type on the diagram
- bind the role to the design pattern
- expand the design pattern node on the project tre to see that the role is now under the design pattern
- from the class diagram, move the role to a different location
Result: from the design pattern node on the project tree, the role is now moved out of the design pattern
