If user confuses with the version of installer to download, start solaris installer on Linux machine - installation will
succeeded. I think installer should verify the platform it is installed and get stop the installing if platform is not
intended for it.

installation really exits, but the failing message should be more flexible. When I start solaris installer on Linux I
receive "Neither Solaris or Linux. Exiting." - it is not true in this case.

Fixed. 
Script reports about platform which is expected.

verified in installer 20080621
