Description tambi 2008-06-02 15:05:44 UTC
when importing jBuilder J2ME project, NetBeans can't find the jBuilder project platform ...
a message with "Sun Java(TM) Wirless Tollkit 2.5.1 for CLDC, EA" appearing... so it is using "Default platform" -
J2SE, and it's canot be change manully to j2ME.

though WTK 2.5 is installed...

Could you attach some sample JBuilder project. I do not have this IDE available, there also can be some different versions

Comment 3 tambi 2008-06-04 17:43:58 UTC
I Attached a sample project, created in jBuilder 2006, though i think there won't be a problem with jBuilder 2005 too
from what i saw (I keep using 2005 for DoJa...)

Attempting to reassign to project importer, wherever it is.
Comment 8 Milos Kleint 2008-11-12 17:41:30 UTC

Nothing we can do for it from the mobility side, but if you want some help generating a mobility project, we can
probably provide something to make that easier.
Comment 10 tambi 2008-11-16 19:24:07 UTC
I have more than 200 projects, each project containing several builds...
Even if i'm going to keep working with jBuilder 2006 i'm certainly not going to recreate them...
Comment 11 _ tboudreau 2008-11-17 03:18:01 UTC
Sorry, tambi - I didn't mean you when I said "you" :-)

What I meant is: The people who work on the jbuilder project importer are the people who need to fix it (I work on
mobility projects, not the importer) - but if there is something I can do from the mobility projects module that will
make it easier, I will help.

Taking this issue per Jiri Kovalsky's request, but don't know when I will find time to look at it.

So, let me see if I understand this clearly: When importing a JBuilder J2ME project, the platform in the resulting project is set to the default J2SE platform rather than the default J2ME platform?

Is the project usuable if you manually change it? Or are you really getting a J2SE project instead of a J2ME project after importing?

Reassigning a bunch of bugs still assigned to me - I haven't worked for Oracle in almost a year.
Comment 14 Martin Balin 2016-07-07 08:37:45 UTC
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
