If I right-click on a file node in the Files window, then drag to the right (to move into the popup context menu), a drag rectangle around the selected file node is drawn, and moves to the right with my mouse. When I notice this, I release the button, but the rectangle stays. In fact the rectangle is now a permanent part of my screen, on top of all other windows, even if I hide (Mac-only) or minimize Netbeans. See screen shot showing a rectangle, a few pixels away from a file node (where it ended up after the drag). Additionally, the file node drag/drop feature then becomes disabled. Everything goes back to normal after I shutdown/relaunch Netbeans.

This looks similar to the movie in bug# 135159 so maybe it is related?
seems as JDK issue. Could you provide more info about your setup? What OS version, JDK, IDE, windows manager, effects active etc...
Passing to Standa...
Here is the additional info you requested, copied from the Netbeans' "About" window: Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.1 (Build 200804211638) Java: 1.5.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_13-119 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.2 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb) Userdir: /Users/cmjanicki/.netbeans/6.1 Everything should be standard... I generally don't play around with operating system or application defaults too much. I keep the OS up-to-date, so that is the latest version of Java 1.5 available for Mac. (FYI, there is a Java version 1.6 now available too, but apparently NetBeans didn't use it at startup.)
Please reopen if still reproducible, thanks.
