Description Jesse Glick 2001-07-11 19:21:50 UTC
[dev jul 1] The property sheet for multiple nodes with different
values of a given property shows the name of the property type in
square brackets. Since the property type is nonlocalizable and is not
shown elsewhere, it should probably be displayed as just e.g. "<mixed
values>". For that matter, the decision about whether to show the
property type here and also in the tooltip for the value side of the
row and also in the title of any custom proped should probably be
configurable per-property as e.g. users of the Component Inspector
have a legitimate need to see the Java class of the property type; so
suggest that it be hidden by default and shown based on an attribute
of the property (or property descriptor).

Target milestone -> 3.3.1.
Comment 2 David Simonek 2002-02-05 14:22:00 UTC
Should be straighforward and doable for 3.4.

Comment 4 Jesse Glick 2002-03-04 19:20:20 UTC
Implications for I18N - class name is unlocalized.

the string CTL_Different_Values is displayed when the values are mixed
on multiple selection.
