Description Vlad Koval 2001-07-11 09:42:48 UTC
I am Developer and owner of project "NetBrowser". I wanted to put some docs to
project site. I have enough rights, but CVS does not respect then. Adding to
src/ subdir (java code) is OK.

I used WinCVS and CVS, embedded in NetBeans IDE. Neither worked with similar
error message (I believe that it is server to blame):

NEW CVSROOT: vkoval@cvs.netbeans.org:/cvs (password authentication)
Saved settings for D:\NoWork\NetBrowser successfully...
cvs add index.html (in directory D:\NoWork\NetBrowser\netbrowser\www\docs\)
cvs add: warning: unrecognized response `DBD::mysql::st execute failed: You
have an error in your SQL syntax near ')' from cvs server
cvs add: warning: unrecognized response ` and HELM_ACTION.NAME
= "VersionControl - Add"' from cvs server
cvs add: warning: unrecognized response ` and HELM_ROLE.ROLE_ID ' at line 9
at /var/svscan/tigris-cvs-pserver/pcheck.pl line 250.' from cvs server
cvs add: warning: unrecognized response `DBD::mysql::st fetchrow_arrayref
failed: fetch() without execute() at /var/svscan/tigris-cvs-pserver/pcheck.pl
line 252.' from cvs server
User vkoval doesnt have <Add> access to project local

Hello,

I just happened across this - I am assuming no one has seen it or
responded as it was assigned to "issues@cvsroot", a non-standard
place for things to go.

Are you still seeing this problem ? Tehre were many CVS related
issues after the SC upgrade, I hope this was one of them and is
now resolved ?

If it is resolved, please close this issue. Thanks.

Well, a P1 bug on a dead project open for more than 3 years. Closing.
