Description Marian Petras 2008-05-06 10:13:55 UTC
In most cases, the IDE does not respond to any mouse events after startup. I can see the main window. The window is even
repainted when covered by another window and then uncovered. But it is not repainted when the main window is resized.
This happens in most cases after startup.

I tried to generate a thread-dump using jstack - but the jstack did not generate any until I closed the IDE! The
generated jstack log has date&time of the moment the IDE shut down. The jstack log is attached.

System info:
NetBeans 6.5 dev. build 080506, sources updated at about 07:30 GMT
  JDK 1.6.0_10, Linux (Ubuntu 8.04, 32-bit), Intel
Comment 3 Jana Maleckova 2008-05-06 10:30:16 UTC
It happens on Build 20080505093522 as well. IDE is running on winXP and from 10 startups, netbeans gets frozen in 8 cases.

Rather than spend a lot of time trying to figure this out while developers are blocked, I am going to temporarily
disable MySQL support, and then will work to track this down.

PLEASE, set up correct target milestone next time when you are closing issue as FIXED. Thank you.
Comment 15 Marian Petras 2008-06-03 17:14:18 UTC
Verified. It got fixed for me immediately after the MySQL support had been disabled.
