The drop-down panel begins from the top left of the text field, obscuring text field content. The component is placed in a Woodstock Tab which is part of a Tabset. NetBeans 6.1 build 200804211638 Very high priority for us. Site will be deployed to client May 6, 2008. We can provide access to website and/or relevant code on request.
In order to get a quick response I would suggest you to file a bug at https://woodstock.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectIssues
More info: The defect differs depending on the Web browser. However, every Web browser we've tested so far does not display the drop-down properly. Firefox (most recent version) - top left corner of drop-down starts from top left corner of text field (covering text field) Safari (most recent version) - top left corner of drop-down starts from top of text field but translated to the right so it doesn't cover text field. Not currently sure amount of right-ward translation and where that comes from. Internet Explorer (most recent version) - drop-down position correct! However, drop-down is mostly transparent. Selection works.
Looks like it has been fixed in the latest build of Woodstock

I'm closing this bug as will not fix, since same bug is tracked in the Woodstock issuezilla
