Description jlumpkins 2008-05-01 18:19:53 UTC
Hi,

We use a very old cvs server running on QNX.
Your cvs module does not work with it at all.
I don't need you to make it work, I just want to know how to turn it off completely.

It hangs my x session to the point that I have to log in remotely and reboot every time the cvs module tries to interact
with the server.

What's the majic trick to turning off all remnants of the cvs integration in the IDE?

I had no problems in 5.5.

Thanks,

Jerry Lumpkins

I uninstalled CVS. (Should have looked under plugins earlier...)

So it no longer locks up my computer.

I don't know if you really want to do try and get the cvs module working with QNX, but in case you do, the problem is
that your module is getting stopped prompting for a password and there's no stdin available to give it a value. I locks
up my x session to the point that I can't even get to a console session with the control-alt fkeys, or kill x with
control-alt backspace. I have to ssh to my computer from another one, and even then, killing the netbeans process and
the jre doesn't release the x session. I have to actually reboot.

Take care,

j
