This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
1. Add Oracle driver. 2. Rightclick "Databases" node and choose "New Connection...". 3. Choose 'Oracle' in "Name" dropdown list, enter 'jdbc:oracle:thin:@jbrave-pc1.sfbay.sun.com:1521:ora10g' for "Database URL" field, 'travel' for "User Name" and "Password" fields and click "OK". Result: Connection is added, but "New Database Connection" dialog is still here and button "OK" is enabled. Dialog disappears only when connection is established (it can be seen from this connection's node sign). It can mislead customers. Everything is fine with other databases.
