Description emi 2008-03-26 15:29:16 UTC
The status bar takes a lot of space in FullScreen mode and has little use. It should either be invisible by default or
it should have some option to show/hide it (maybe a full screen configuration pane ?).

OS: Ubuntu x86 8.04
Java 1.6 Sun, NetBeans 6.0.1

:-) Netbeans are really not designed to be used on 800x600.

See release notes, section system requirements:
http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/60/relnotes.html

However configuration of full screen mode may be good thing for some users, so leaving this open as enhancement.

I also would like to use full screen mode but I need the toolbar for fast access to my project profiles. But, per
default the toolbar is hidden in full screen mode. Therefore I support the idea to be able to configure full screen mode.
