AJAX JSF components do not render in NB 6.0.1 Create a Visual JSF web page add a "Popup Calendar" AJAX component from "Blueprints AJAX Components" to the design Run the project, "Popup Calendar" does not render. Works fine in 'Sun Java Studio Creator 2 update 1'. Thanks Leonid
BP Ajax Components are not supported on NetBeans 6.x. Please see Release notes for more details.Alternative is to use the woodstock calendar component bundled in NetBeans.
How is Woodstock 'bundled'? The only way I could install it is to download it from java.net Thanks Leonid
When you create a Java EE 5, what appears under the Basic and Composite category are woodstock components. So you don't have to install from java.net unless you want to use the nightly or you want additional components from woodstock that don't appear on the palatte by default.
What do you mean by "create a Java EE 5"? The pallet which work with is for the "JavaServer Faces" category of files, such as Visual Web JSF Page. Woodstock is not a default widget set there... Thanks Leonid
Could it be that a specific Library needs to be added to the project? The installed library is JSF 1.1/1.2 Support and it does not seem to have 'Woodstock' components. Does JSF 1.2 have Woodstock, or does it support Woodstock? Thanks Leonid
