Description Martin Krauskopf 2008-03-12 17:56:26 UTC
At least for bundled-in JRuby.
Comment 1 Martin Krauskopf 2008-03-28 10:53:44 UTC
Still not working with JRuby 1.1.RC3. Anyway it seems that we will try to push terminal as much as possible. If it
succeed, we will switch form jirb_swing-like console to pure 'jirb'. So this likely ends up in kind of WONTFIX.
Comment 2 Martin Krauskopf 2008-04-25 20:28:13 UTC
Might be fixed in trunk by Vladimir: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-2445
Likely will be part of 1.1.2. Rather note for me.
Also Vladimir told me though IRC that it works normally from within Widows using NetBeans 6.1 RC2! Unices specific?
Depending on Terminal Emulator in next version we will either bring this back or drop completely.
Comment 3 Erno Mononen 2010-03-29 14:21:34 UTC
The terminal emulator is now in available in the , and although it is not yet integrated with IRB/Rails Console (etc) I don't think we want to bring back jirb_swing anymore.
