1. Installed NetBeans 6.0. 2. Installed NetBeans 6.0.1. 3. Installed NetBeans IDE 6.1 Build 200802270005. 4. Open "Add and Remove Programs" dialog. 5. Try to uninstall Tomcat 6.0. Result: Message that NetBeans 6.0 isn't found in C:\Program Files\NetBeans 6.0, then the same message for NetBeans 6.0.1 and for NetBeans 6.1, then message for GlassFish and Tomcat. Nothing is uninstalled. By next attempt to uninstall Tomcat message "The specified target component tomcat/6.0.16.0.0 was not found in the registry." appears.
I installed all products in C:\Sun\ directory, not in C:\Program Files\.
maybe you acidentally removed ~/.nbi folder before uninstallation? what jdk? does that occur on 32bit OS? xp or vista? has the user locale been changed between installations and uninstallation? please attach the zipped ~/.nbi directory. thanks, dmitry
have you done all the steps (installations and uninstallation) under the same user?
I didn't remove .nbi directory and therefore I filed this issue as P2. Because it's strange behaviour and I didn't have such situation before. Java: java version "1.6.0_03" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_03-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0_03-b05, mixed mode, sharing) OS: Windows XP 32bit User: the same all the time User Locale: yes, it has been changed between installations and uninstallation.
Created attachment 57641 [details] Archive of .nbi directory.
