I'm missing an action "Cut Line". This would be like "Delete Line" (Ctrl+E), but would place the line in the clipboard 
(including the line break).
Alternatively, or in addition, I would be in favor of having "Cut" do a "Cut Line" when there is no selection. In other 
words, "Cut" would become "Cut else Cut Line".

This is what I would prefer. This way we don't need any special shortcut for it. The same should be implemented for
copy. It was actually filed as an RFE some time ago, see issue #51924.
