I've been unable to view local variables, watches, breakpoints, or any other table based window while debugging due to
what appears to be an error in JDK 6 update 4 and above.  I was able to regress to 5 update 14, and it works fine.  It
was also working on 6 update 3, but I can no longer find a binary distro for 6u5.

Does it throw any exceptions?

please, reopen if the symptoms are different. There should be a NPE in ide log file (or right-bottom corner of the IDE).

Verified ... and Closing all issues resolved into NetBeans 6.7 and earlier.
