Description lyhy 2007-12-04 14:13:22 UTC
A couple of general points:

1) I was a long-time user of RadRails and then Aptana IDE. I absolutely love your product. THANK YOU!

2) You bug-submittal form lists waaaay too many choices for the problem area. I'm not sure I'm in the right place,
but, to be honest, I just got sick of trying to decipher which category I should submit to.

Now the problem: I have used Beta 1 and Beta 2 of your IDE. The instructions said to uninstall Beta 2 and then do a
fresh install of 6.0. It said that at IDE start-up I would be prompted to import my settings from a previous version of
the IDE.

Well, I wasn't. (And I always use the default directories for all of my software installs.)

lyhy, thank you for the nice words!

Unfortunately we do not support settings import from non-final versions. A settings import will be offered to you at the
very first start of 6.0 only if a userdir of 5.5.1, 5.5, 5.0 or Creator 2.1 is found.
