With the following useragent the solaris sparc option is not set by default (reported by Glenn.Glazer at Sun.COM).
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4v; en-US; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20070718 Firefox/2.0.0.5

The issue is the the sparc choice is made only if "SunOS sun4u" is in the user agent string.

The issue is fixed.
The determination of the platform with such a useragent string should work fine on the 6.0 FCS (and further) download 
page.

still shows my default download option as Windows/Vista even after clearing my browser caches and trying again.
