I am using Suse linux 10.3 and netbeans build from 
 
http://bits.netbeans.org/download/6.0/pre-rc1/nightly/latest

While I was able to successfully install NB but could not run it

I got the following error message when i tried to execute NB

Not sure if Suse is supported platform

This " Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed." also happens in the following conditions:

1) the os is opensuse 10.3
2) with netbeans 5.5.1
