01/11 -there is no "Resource" node for newly created configurations ->it makes the adding of resources more difficult for users. They have to go to project properties uncheck the "Use values from DefaultConfiguration" for Libs&Resources. Then they can add a resource to project directly in Projects view ->it could work in the same way as it works for abilities. I mean :1, the same menu is enabled for Resources and Resources - inherited when user use the menu to add a new resource to resources - inherited then it unckecks the "Use values from DefaultConfiguration" and all resources from default config are copied into the configuration. ->luky, please, don't implement this over weekend if it needs lot of changes
Lukas, are you on weed? a few hours before the rekease deadline you want from me to change the behaviour of something which is implemented at least for last half a year and nobody had a single comment about it? You don't mean it, do you? Behaviour of adding new configuration from logical view is the same as behaviour of adding config from customizer. So there is no inconsistency and nobody complained for last 2 releases If you wish fill it as an enhancement for 6.1 and not a bug for 6.0
this issue isn't about adding configurations but the resources to configurations. It should be easier with the new resource management UI. Therefore I consider it as bug. We might argue about bug x enhancement. Anyway, the report doesn;t deserve to be closed. I don;t want you to implement it. I'm just reporting it. I agree that it has no sense to fix it for 6.0 but IMHO it makes sense for next releases
I now what you are talking about. And I understand it may be cool for users, howvever everything I wrote before is valid. If you create a configuration from customizer, you want be able to add new resources unless you uncheck the check box. So still it is just enhancement but not a bug
