Description nouar38 2007-10-31 14:07:31 UTC
NB 6.0 200710291200 for solaris-sparc and 200710301200 on windows/xp , post beta 2, still having
Licence Agreement with Netbeans 6 Beta 1.

sorry if using the bad component.
Comment 1 dlipin 2007-10-31 14:15:34 UTC
Yes, it is.

We don`t have special license for daily builds and don`t (afaik) have the final decision on how would handle the
licenses in 6.0 FCS. For 6.0Beta1 we had 1 license for each installable component, for 6.0Beta2 we had one big license.

Increasing the priority.
Alexei, could you please contact Darin/Honza on this issue?

Thanks,
Dmitry

Nouar,

I`ve updated license agreement from Beta1 to Beta2.

I hope some day we`ll have the final license.. until then I will leave the issue open.
Comment 3 Alexei Mokeev 2007-11-05 09:32:07 UTC

Comment 4 nouar38 2007-11-05 14:15:53 UTC

text.

Comment 5 dlipin 2007-11-05 20:15:57 UTC
increasing priority to P1. Legal, you know..
Comment 6 dlipin 2007-11-05 22:03:47 UTC
New license has been integrated in trunk.
If the fcs/rc branch has not been created yet then the license should be there when it is ready.
If the branch creation is in progress then I would re-commit there as well.
Comment 7 dlipin 2007-11-06 08:08:54 UTC
Fixed.
Comment 8 nouar38 2007-11-08 08:17:20 UTC
daily 200711060000 (Web and Java EE distro : netbeans-trunk-nightly-200711060000-javaee-solaris-sparc.sh &
netbeans-trunk-nightly-200711060000-javaee-windows.exe)
on solaris-sparc & windows/xp: ok verified the new licence text in the NBI wizard, no more reference to Beta2.

daily 200711070000 (Web and Java EE distro: netbeans-6.0-200711070000-javaee-linux.sh) on Linux RHEL 4.0 (Red Hat
Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 4)
kernel Kernel 2.6.9-42.ELsmp on an i686: ok

Is the LICENSE.txt file an exact copy of the one shown/accepted by the user in the NBI ?
LICENCE.txt title "NetBeans Version 6.0 Development build"
NBI Agreement for the licence, If I remember well, has title like "NetBeans Version 6.0"
Comment 9 dlipin 2007-11-08 09:11:53 UTC
As for branding check-list (http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/NB6FinalBrandingChecklist) that license has been already
integrated.
CC-ing Tonda, hope he knows the answer.
Comment 10 Antonin Nebuzelsky 2007-11-08 09:52:17 UTC
Build 200711080000 should now include the right versions of the following files: LICENSE.txt, LEGALNOTICE.txt,
THIRDPARTYLICENSE.txt and DISTRIBUTION.txt.
Comment 11 nouar38 2007-11-09 14:15:42 UTC
installed:
netbeans-6.0-200711081200-javaee-solaris-sparc.sh and netbeans-6.0-200711081200-javaee-windows.exe
(RC1 build)

can see the change in LICENSE.txt, read the other files.

thanks,
