Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200804110003)
Java: 1.6.0_06; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b22
System: Linux version 2.6.24-16-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)

I am pleased to tell you that you can be happy now ^_^.

In NB 6.1, you can go to Tools > Options > Fonts&Colors tab and you can set up the default font (in a "Syntax" tab,
"Category" list box, item "Default", other items inherit settings from this one by default), which modifies all fonts.

As the feature is present at the moment, I am closing this issue (I will mark it as WORKSFORME as it works for me at
this moment).
