Can't locate the VW Compatibility Kit on Beta2 build
NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710151100)

The Update settings string is:
URL: http://dlc.sun.com/netbeans/updates/6.0/uc/beta2/thirdparty/catalog.xml.gz
Comment 1 Ch Nguyen 2007-10-16 01:51:24 UTC
Jiri/Tonda/Robert, are you taking care of the postings of the plugins in this table
http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/NB6StableModulesUC for Beta2?

I am getting this error when trying to download the mac beta2 installer from this location
http://smetiste.czech.sun.com/builds/netbeans/6.0/all-in-one/beta2/latest/bundles/netbeans-6.0beta2-javaee-macosx.dmg to
investigate this issue:

The requested URL /builds/netbeans/6.0/all-in-one/beta2/latest/bundles/netbeans-6.0beta2-javaee-macosx.dmg was not found
on this server.
Comment 2 Ch Nguyen 2007-10-16 07:22:13 UTC
It looks like the following critical modules for visualweb are missing from the Stable UC catalog and the UC server
itself for Beta2:
. Visual Web JSF Backward Compatibility kit (missing)
. The Rowset Reference Implementation (missing)
. JavaServer Faces 1.1.02 Library (missing)
. JAX-RPC web services (misplaced - this should be on the stable UC as the other libraries above it on the list)

These missing ones have been part of the experimental list in the trunk. They can be found on the latest successful
javadoc-nbms build under extra.

Reassigning to Jiri as he's in charge of UCs for official releases on the server side. There is not much that I'm aware
of can be done on the client side to resolve this.

BTW, can you explain what the 3rd party UC is for? In beta1 this didn't exist.
Comment 3 rnovak 2007-10-16 14:27:14 UTC
Please, add these modules to the list of modules available on the Stable UC, it means to file
nbbuild/clusters.properties, to list of modules:
nb.cluster.stableuc=

Before the modules are added, they need to branched for Beta2, branch name is release60_beta2.
Let me know if you need help with branching.
Comment 4 Ch Nguyen 2007-10-16 15:27:40 UTC
OK, by adding the modules to the Stable UC list of the nbbuild/cluster.properties file, my modules will be posted on the
Stable UC automatically. So, I'm reassigning the bug back to me.

Checking in cluster.properties;
/cvs/nbbuild/cluster.properties,v <-- cluster.properties
new revision: 1.432.2.3; previous revision: 1.432.2.2
done

Verify after there is a beta2 build today.
