Description tkellerer 2001-04-27 10:36:27 UTC
The re-ordering of search types does not work.

To reproduce:
Open Project/Settings
Right click on Search Types
Choose "Change Order"
Re-order the search types to the desired order
(btw: the current selected item loses its selection after moving it,
so you have to re-select again if you want to move it further)
Close the window
Right click on any filesystem or node and choose find.
The tabs do not appear in the selected order.

Fixed in [main-trunk].

Since there isn't support for ordering services now, it's not fully implemented.
Now I've done it the way each time when IDE starts the order is changed the way
that Full text, objct name etc. are first. When user changes it during session
the change is respected. But IDE restarts the order is changed the above way
again.

Suggest WONTFIX for this; neat idea, but kind of an undiscoverable
microfeature of the type NB has had too many of in the past. Surely
remembering the last used tab and making that the default would be
enough?

Agree with Tim, sorting the search types has not much sense. And they
are also not presented in options anymore - this was done more than
year ago. This issue is obsolete now...
