I have several versions of NetBeans installed: 5.5.1, 6.0.m1, 6.0.m2.  When installing 6.0.b1, the installer only provided the option to import settings from 
5.5.1.  Ideally, the installer would provide the option of importing from any compatible versions, or at least consider the milestone builds as the eligible 
default.  (Maybe this would have prevented bug# 115997, I don't know.)

Note: this request is similar to old bug# 55647

We do not support import from pre-released milestones ...
