This request came from a TextMate user at RailsConf Europe:

In TextMate's Go To File dialog, if you type "mab" it will find "main.rb". Basically any word that has the typed
characters in it. It also bolds the matching letters in the result list - a nice touch.

Agreed. Reassigning to the utilities/jumpto category where Go To File lives.

This part is solved in NB73 - see http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=216833
