Seen with Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200708210000) Java: 1.6.0_01; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_01-b06
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb) Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\lautz\.netbeans\dev

1. Open a copy of SynchronousSampleApplication in the CASA editor.
2. Select the SOAP port.
3. Ctrl-7 to go to the Navigation pane. Make sure you are seeing the Logical View.
4. Tab and arrow down to go to the WSDL ports node.
5. Ctrl-F10 to see the context menu, and choose Add WSDL Port...
6. Choose soap in the dialog and click OK.
7. Look at the CASA Design view. 
==> The SOAP port originally selected in the CASA design view is still selected, but so is the new SOAP port. Screenshot
attached.

However . . . 
8. Go to the Service Units node in the Navigator pane.
9. Ctrl-F10 to see the context menu, and choose Add JBI Module. . . 
10. Choose a JBI Module, and click OK.
11. Look at the CASA Design view.
==> Nothing is selected in the CASA design view.

And . . . 

11. Add an External SU in the External Modules section of the CASA Design view. Make sure it's selected.
12. Go to the Service Units node in the Navigator pane.
13. Choose Add an External Service Unit in the context menu.
14. Look at the CASA Design view.
== Note that both the first (step 11) and 2nd (step 13) external SUs are selected in the CASA design view. Screenshot

Additional info:

I'm noticing similar behavior when I DnD ports into the CASA design view when another port is already selected. The new
port is highlighted too, not instead.

Changing to a P3, because this behavior affects A11y -- it's unclear which selected object is going to be acted upon
with keystrokes.
