I go to the plugin portal page. I try to login. It says my login information is wrong. I try to get a new password and
it tells me I'm already logged onto the web site...which is true for netbeans.org in general. I then tried to click on
register and it gave me the same message. The login seems to be completely broken for the plugin portal.

Are you hitting the "ENTER" key to login?  Please see defect http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96653.
