Hi, I can add frameworks to the webproject's properties but there is no remove button, so I can't remove any frameworks I added by mistake. Only hitting the Cancel button seems to provide a solution here. Iwan
This has been raised for NetBeans 5.5 as well, but after some discussion between developers, it has been decided not to implement such a functionality, as for complex project it's difficult to achieve complete removal of framework. So this "issue" won't be "fixed".
Okay, I can understand that removing a framework later on is rather difficult if not impossible, but it should be a breeze to remove it right after it has been added and the dialog hasn't been closed yet. On the other hand, wouldn't removing a framework be a breeze? It is quite the opposite of adding the framework. Showing a warning telling the developer that the action might break his code could solve the problem that I think you see in this. I think having an 'Add' button beckons a 'Remove' button. Iwan

Changing the synopsis from 'Can't remove frameworks from web projects' to 'Provide a 'remove' button in the 'add framework support' wizard.' There seems to be two related requests: 1. This issue. Provide a remove button in the 'add framework support' wizard, so that accidentally added framework(s) can be removed *before* closing the wizard. (Somewhat like a cancel button...) 2. The issue 98884. Which is a request for support for removing a framework *after* the wizard is closed and the application project has been created.
