When I specify the substring in Search dialog and press Enter, I get a Search 
Results dialog in which there I miss the information about the searched string. 
I think it would be usefull to show in this dialog for what I'm searching.

it would also be nice if the substring field would be a pop down 
displaying last X number of string searches.

This enhancement was implemented together with feature #18237 ("Search and
Replace over multiple files/directories").
