Currently Load Generator options in Select Profiling Task dialog is only available for Web and Enterprise Applications.
The same time Load Generator Profiling Points are enabled for any project types. According to comment in issue 105560 it
is necessary to enable Load Generator support in Select Profiling Task dialog for all project types to ensure consistency.
