NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200705311200) 1.6.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0-b105 Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 ru_RU (nb); Cp1251 When adding profiling root methods Select Setting Configuration dialog is shown and its first item is always selected. It would be nice if last used (last run) preset was pre-selected.
Looks more like an ENHANCEMENT. Do you mean adding root methods from the editor? What if the profiler hasn't been run yet? What if the last profiling session was memory profiling? I'm afraid that the suggested behavior would be a bit indeterministic for the user without proper documentation - isn't it useless for such minor thing??
In fact, I meant adding root methods from the editor in situation when more than one method is added. Each time user needs to select a preset. It would be nice if it remembered last selected preset or last run preset. The current behaviour is okay for all other cases. BTW, I didn't mean that preset has to be already set, I meant that the preset can be already selected when the dialog is shown, to just avoid additional clicks. So no changes to documentation is needed.
Not applicable in the new profiler.
