Description gnikhil 2007-05-18 13:03:26 UTC
I am trying to configure CVS with NB 5.5. i had installed WinCVS 2.0 & CVSNT
2.051.d. i make a folder f:\CVSRepository as CVS repository on my system
itself.
When i don't how i should start ;because first i need to checkin some thing
then i can checkout and there is no option for setting cvs server as well as
checkIn file.
I tried check out option; i used local & /CVSNT as repository path. cvsnt i
had set in cvsnt which is pointing to f:\CVSRepository. but i am NB giving me
a message that not able to find repository.

Thanks

There is a "Start | Control Panel | CVSNT". Open it and switch to "Repository
Configration" tab. If there is no record in the below then "Add" repository.
(Repository must be initialized). After that use the the repository from the
column "Name". So the cvsroot field should be something like this:
":local:/my/cvsrepo". "javacvs" client can't handle back slashes and drive
letters in cvsroot string.
