reproducible with M8 in some configurations

steps:
1. start ide, move to second display
2. create uml project
3. create class diagram
4. add class
5. start typing name
edit control doesn't appear
6. press enter
new name is appied to the class

it may be ati uml+ati driver/two display issue, I can't reproduce it on my desktop

Restoring original priority and using the standard NB waiver process.

Diagram area bugs waived for 6.0 will also be waived for 6.1.

can't verify, but should be fixed, ec now isn't in separate window.
