Description Ken Frank 2007-04-26 02:38:42 UTC
using pseudo localized umll but using only default font size - this issue
will be more obvious if larger font size would be used

not all of the uml basic options window shows on invocation.
user should not need to resize to see all contents.

see before and after gifs.

additional information
 - suggest running at 16 point font in en locale; these were seen actually at
default
11 point font in pseudo localized situation

1. domain templates - right size of the window

2. diagrams tab - the No checkboxes do not show all of their label - even at default
11 pt size using pseudo localized

3. set colors and fonts dialog - left size does not resize to show all and there
is no
horizontal scrollbar

Comment 5 Ken Frank 2007-06-11 21:05:31 UTC
added attachement for diagrams area resize mentioned below

for set colors and fonts dialog, using 14 pt there was scrollbars, vs at 11 pt

but the control to expand the left side or right side to be larger does not work
at least on solaris, without resizing the window much larger, so in effect this
is a resize issue also.

uml options window has changed since original issue filed but still similar resize
problems.

attached are new gif of as invoked and after manual resize on general tab; similar missing
areas exist for the other tabs also.

since there is actually missing parts in these windows, I think this should be fixed for nb6.

see 120439 where resize situations in other sections of uml window as mentioned
below - see the gifs in that issue which was closed as dup of this one.
moving to p2 since seen by actual translation team with real translations.

I've fixed all the problems related to component size reported in issue 120439.

There are two UML option tabs, i.e. General and Java Code Generation, that if running the IDE with 16 point (or greater)
font, some of the components at the end of the panels can not be seen until the dialog is resized. The Option dialog is
provided by Netbeans and UML has no control over it. Similar problem can been seen on Editor->General tab and
Miscellaneous->Ant tab.
Comment 12 Ken Frank 2007-11-04 19:59:35 UTC
the items I reported recently are fixed but the other issue
that is dup of this one, in templates tab, the Add button under
domaintemplates window, does not show all still.

as mentioned below it seems these areas are provided by ide;
what would be the category to file in about that, and can use
this example of uml/general as a gif for that issue.

verified since as per my last comment, the remaining item was mentioned as not from uml.
