Description Jesse Glick 2007-04-19 23:52:01 UTC
070419. For the most part I like to check the "Keep Marks" checkbox in Mark
Occurrences settings. When occurrences of a member are outside the current
scroll viewport (quite common in my experience), it saves me from trying to
scroll to a usage only to find the mark cleared by the time I get there.

However when I am trying to edit something, sometimes I want the marks to go
away for a while so that I can concentrate on looking at the code without the
distraction. I keep on trying to use the Escape key to clear them, by analogy
with the way Ctrl-R renames and code completion popups are cancelled, but it
doesn't work. Could it be made to?

Makes sense to me.
