System Info: Mac OS X Intel JDK 1.5.0_07 NBI: NetBeans IDE 6.0 Build 200704091800, SOA 6.0 Build 070410_5, Sun Java System Access Manager 7.1 Build 7, GlassFish v2 Build 41a, Open ESB 2.0 Build 070409_4 Problem: Server cannot start Steps: 1. Use latest NBI and install IDE and SOA tools 2. Click Runtime Tab 3. Right click Sun Application Server and select start. 4. Server startup fails. Please try to remove the SOCKS proxy entry from the IDE proxy settings and try starting the server again. The server inherits the IDE's settings, which the IDE gets them from the system. It might be that the SOCKS proxy is not working correctly (there have been problems with them throughout the day in Sun's network).
Removing SOCKS proxy setting solved the problem.
Opening to reassign.
