3.1 is really old version. I'd suggest you to use newer one - 5.5 or upcoming
6.0. If it reproducible in one of these versions, please, provide more info - as
source file you are trying to compile, information if the file is compilable in
console using javac.

Closing as wontfix for now since 3.1 branch is closed.
