Description Peter Lam 2007-04-04 17:05:37 UTC
If I installed through the staging UC, I got tons of different types of
exceptions when ide was started from fresh userdir. See attached. After that,
creating uml project does not bring up the Create New Diagram dialog. If
manually add a diagram, the Create New Diagram dialog has no default diagram
name, and also affects element naming on the diagram.

Forgot to say that the functionality problem only seems to appear on Windows
even though the exceptions exist on all platforms. The problem seems to have
been caused by adding the cyclic dependencies to all the uml submodules since
the problem did not exist before the dependencies were added.

The latest investigations show that this has something to do with necessity to
restart IDE. Could you please Robert fix this issue by setting
needsrestart="true" in module descriptor?
Comment 4 rnovak 2007-04-05 14:10:40 UTC
needsrestart="true" was already set for UML module and modules were made public.

UML team - please, don't forget to set needsrestart="true" for the future
release of UML modules.

I am not able to reproduce this issue on my Win XP. Seems that all is working
fine now.
