The highlighting used to show parenthesis matching in the editor makes it
difficult to see the text insertion point.  Perhaps the highlight can be
made smaller (i.e. less than the full size of the character), or have it
time out after a couple of seconds.

Only changing the issue type to ENHANCEMENT.

Changing the state of the issue to ASSIGNED, because it was cover in

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
